Church Leadership and Committees
The Leadership Team shall be invested with administrative powers to plan, coordinate, integrate, and supervise the ongoing program of the congregation. The Leadership Team is primarily responsible for program, long-range planning, initiation or discontinuation of programs, and the setting of goals and objectives. The Leadership Team shall be empowered to act on behalf of the Church Council ad interim, except for those actions specifically reserved for the Church Council.
The Leadership Team consists of the Leadership Team chair, chairs of the Music / Worship Team, Christian Education / Hospitality Team, Evangelism and Social Concerns Team, the Stewards Team, and the church clerk, the Administrative Assistant, the deacon chair, and the treasurer. The pastor(s) shall be ex officio without vote.

Assist in planning varied corporate worship experiences.

Provide guidance for the ministry of music.

Plan for seasonal events and special historical celebrations.

Recruit / train / coordinate: Preaching supply in absence of pastor, greeters, ushers, acolytes, choristers, altar flowers, and other enhancements to worship experiences.

Christian Education / Hospitality Team
Chairperson: Becky Fahrnbach

Provide opportunities and resources for formal study in Christian education classes, short-term courses in special interest areas, and training courses for group leaders.

Encourage and provide resources for informal study groups, outdoor education, camps, retreats, and vacation church experiences.

Assist the congregation in creating a hospitable environment, welcoming and assimilating new people into the life of the church.

Plan congregational social opportunities.

Evangelism and Social Concerns Team
Chairperson: Doris Shank

Plan and carry out appropriate forms of evangelism such as personal evangelism, fellowship evangelism, educational or preaching evangelism to those people in the community who are not actively related to a church.

Prepare, encourage and support members in speaking up for Christian values and concerns in vocational, neighborhood, community, and civic groups.

Lead out and involve the congregation in Social education and action on issues in the area of peace, citizenship and political life, anti-poverty, race relations, environmental welfare, and temperance.

Interpret and support service opportunities, such as work camps, disaster relief, volunteer service, with time and material resources.

Aid and support community welfare institutions: for the poor, homeless, aged, dependent children, mentally and physically impaired, and those dealing with addiction problems.

Stewards Team
Chairperson: Garry Erbaugh

Educate and encourage members to be good stewards of their resources, and encourage Christian giving - tithing.

Administer the funds of the Church.

Give counsel to the Leadership Team on anticipated resources and expenditures in annual budget preparations and be concerned with ratio of resources going to outreach.

Supervise the care, maintenance and development of church property. Provide adequate insurance coverage.
