Bear Creek is pleased to announce the selection of a new-full time minister, Rev. Phil Reynolds. He was fomerly a pastor in Ephrata, PA and joined Bear Creek in March of 2008.

Pastor Phil is a 1987 Graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College where he earned a degree in Pastor Ministry and a 1997 graduate of Huntington College Graduate School of Christian Ministry where he earned a Masters in Christian Ministry. He has served three other Brethren congregations and has been involved with Church planting in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

He is complemented by his loving wife Kathy to whom he has been married since 1977. They have 4 children and are a close knit family. He is the son of a minister.

Pastor Phil enjoys loving people, especially when they are going through times of heartache. The focus of his ministry is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that people can understand, to nurture believers as they grow in the Lord, and to lead individuals into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His life verse is Luke 4:18,19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, the recovery of sight to the blind to set free those who are downtrodden and to proclaim the year of God's favor."

Pastor Phil says: “I enjoy my private time with God in worship, prayer and praise. It gives me the strength and perspective to do the ministry God has blessed me with. To me, Sunday morning is just the culmination of a week of praise, I look forward to our worship, it makes me a strong Christian. Please come and worship God with us.
